Lower % abv, more cost

Used to buy the 2021 Kumala Shiraz which was 14 % ABV. The 2022 now is 11 % ABV.

Soft and gentle

Being a Shiraz lover, this is definitely one of my favourites. South African wines are always good due to the warm climate and this one is fabulous. No bite in the back of your throat or a sharpness on the tongue. Just a gentle richness. Love it!

The taste of sunshine

The lizard on the label is a clue. Being cold blooded, they sunbathe until their blood is up for the job. The grapes in this wine sunbathed in long scorching South African days until they were bulging with sweet fruity sumptuous lusciousness. Oh yes!

Kumala Shiraz

Definitely not a good. Smoky flavour. Not buying it again.
