poor
Lots of water and shrunk to half the size and left lots of fat in the pan. Didnt even taste particularly nice.
Why the flavourings?
I know there's no such thing as healthy bacon, but since my preschooler developed a taste for it on holiday I try to give it to her once in a while, always looking for the "no nitrates" type. So I thought this was a good choice for her but for some inexplicable reason the makers have chosen to leave out the nitrates and add in so-called "natural" flavourings instead! I won't buy this again.
Lovely
Great tasting bacon. Did it in the air fryer and very little water came out, so no shrinkage.
Not for me
Released a fair amount of water when cooked, didn't crisp up very well and lacking in flavour. For me there are better alternative choices.
No nitrates
I buy this because there's no nitrates in it and tastes great, wish Morrisons did the sausages too as they're lovely. Unfortunately the packers think I just like expensive bacon as it keeps getting subbed for expensive nitrate bacon, sometimes like today without being informed.
