Dynamite Factory Shiraz Red Wine

Unearthed from the Cape Coast region, our Dynamite Factory by Flagstone Shiraz Red Wine shows aromas of red cherry and plum, that also explode on the palate along with black cherry and a hint of pepper and spice. The tannins are soft and silky with a lingering dark chocolate finish.

Cape Coast has a climate well-suited for growing wine grapes, with warm summer days and plenty of sunshine allowing full fruit flavours and sugar to develop.

At the edge of the Cape Peninsula lies an old factory once used to manufacture explosives for the South African diamond and gold mines. These days, however, the old dynamite factory is home to the Flagstone winery, where we carry on the tradition of unearthing hidden gems creating wines that ignite the senses, boast explosive flavour and shine just as bright as the jewels discovered here in days gone by.
