Love it but cant have it.

I love this drink until my headaches went through the roof... Till i found out this has the most caffiene out of all the pop. So if your prone to headaches drink with limited amount

Pretty ghastly

I used to love dr pepper, but i have been drinking mostly sugar free drinks for the last 15 years due to having type 1 diabetes. Not for diet reasons, i'm not overweight, but because i have to inject insulin for the carbs i consume. It's not really worth injecting insulin just for a drink, unless im having a meal too but i prefer ice water with meals. Anyway, this is the first time in 15 years i have tried a regular dr pepper as a one off treat. I hadn't realised they changed the recipe for the sugar tax thing, it's utterly vile in my opinion. Much prefer the zero version, which tastes weak but is at least drinkable. This cocktail of sugar with sweeteners doesn't work at all. Only good thing is, it will make me appreciate the zero one a bit more.
