Dr. Oetker Vanilla Extract is made from real Madagascan vanilla bean pods, which are renowned for delivering the best all round vanilla flavour. Vanilla will enhance the creamy and sweet flavours in your cakes, desserts and icings.
We use a sugar syrup base rather than alcohol, so it is suitable for cold preparations, such as desserts and icings.

Mostly sugar and syrup, not much vanilla flavour. Kind of disgusting.

Vanilla Syrup

This is a vanilla infused syrup, not traditional extract. Better suited to making a cocktail than baking although I suggest buying pods and caster if you're after the former.

Perfect for everyday baking

Great flavour especially in creams and iced creams where the alcohol ones are too strong. Lovely creamy vanilla flavor.

Allergy friendly

Loved this. Great in all my gluten free home baking. Made the best vanilla cookies ever. Don't miss wheat at all.
