History
Casal de Ventozela inherits the name from the historic Quinta Casal de Ventozela, which is located in Mogege. It is a small town in Vila Nova de Famalicão. In 1978, it was acquired by José Ferreira Cortinhas who is the current director of the company.
Regional Information
The vineyards are situated in the small town of Mogege, in the sub-region of Vale do Ave which is located in the heart of the Vinho Verde region.

Vinification Details
The alcoholic fermentation happens in stainless steel tanks with controlled temperature between 16°C and 18°C. The wine remains in “batonnage” with fine lees for a minimum period of 4 months.
