Preparation And Usage
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hol throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and that no pink colour remains. Please remove all packaging before cooking/defrosting.
Oven from chilled
220°C, Fan 200°C, Gas 7
Remove the Joint from the fridge. Gas Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove all packaging including pad. Empty the sachet into a small saucepan and set aside until required. Dry the rind with some kitchen paper and then cover the rind with 1 teaspoon of salt. Leave at room temperature for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes dry the rind again and rub with 1 teaspoon of all. Place the joint rind side up in a lined roasting tin, place on the middle shelf of the oven, and cook as follows: Cook for 30 minutes uncovered. After 30 minutes, reduce the temperature to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6. Cover the Joint with toll and cook for a further 50 minutes plus 15 minutes per 500g. Remove the foll for the last 30 minutes of cooking. Once the joint is cooked, rest for 15 minutes. Heat the sauce until foil. Remove the string, slice and pour sauce over before serving.

- Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw meat and poultry or wash thoroughly after use.
- Keep raw meat and poultry separate from cooked foods.
- Store raw meal covered at the bottom of the fridge.
