To make Country Life Spreadable, we have carefully blended British Country Life butter with British rapeseed oil so that it is easy to spread straight from the fridge. It is perfect for making sandwiches and tastes delicious melted onto crumpets. Try adding it to British favourites such as mashed or jacket potatoes.

Delicious!

For fresh crusty bread & butter or fresh crusty white toast this is just amazing. Could just keep on eating it, which is really bad for waistlines... Prefer other butter for cooking.

I didn't think it was that great

Not-very-buttery butter in my opinion... Fine for cooking with but I like it thickly spread on toast and this way it was disappointing. Other reviews are good though, so it might be worth you giving it a go.

Buttery!

As a butter connoisseur I wasn't expecting to like this much but decided to give it a try as I wanted something spreadable without having to microwave it. Apart from the spreadability I really couldn't tell the difference between this and proper butter, even on toast or bread with no other fillings or spreads. This will definitely be a permanent replacement now

Good Buttery Taste

I decided to give this a try when Morrisons own brand butter went up to a ridiculous price. I am so glad I did. Although this isn't butter, the taste is so close you would be hard pressed to tell. The bonus is that it really does spread straight from the fridge, unlike some other so called spreadable products. If you've been disappointed by other spreads that claim they taste like butter, give this one a try.
