A beautiful ruby robe with purplish hues. The nose is fine, powerful, with aromas of cherries and plums. On the palate, the wine is round and well-balanced. The final is clear with a nice aromatic persistance
History
Chevaliers Saint Martin is a range of wines easy to drink, typical of the Bordeaux area. The vineyard planted in 1995 is conduced in traditional viticulture, reasoned. The vines are pruned in guyot simple and double according to their location.

Very Easy Drinking

So Ive been drinking these since 2017 was on the labels - its 2022 currently. Fantastic wine, one of my favs and for £6 its a bargain. The corks WERE rubbish - they were far too brittle, pushed several into the bottle and snapped many in half pulling them out. Theyre much improved now but still not the best - the one I just opened, even with years of practice, did break in two on the first attempt. If you can accept that issue, though, here you have a very nice wine for the price.

Don't believe the description, very poor quality wine, 12.5% cheap plonk!

Cork had disintegrated

Sadly, I never got to taste this wine as the cork was completely stuck in the bottle, snapped my corkscrew in half and bits went everywhere. Unlucky.

Simply the best bottle of Bordeaux for £5 I have ever tasted, awesome!
