Tasting Notes
Salmon-pink in colour, the nose initially displays notes of cherry followed by plum and apricot. The palate shows cherry, blackcurrant and apricot, with honey and brioche on the finish.
History
Champagne Charles Mignon is based in Epernay in the heart of the Champagne region. Run by Bruno Mignon and his wife, Laurence, the Champagne house has been family owned and run for several generations and since 2003 has been a member of the prestigious Union des Maisons de Champagne.
Regional Information
The Champagne region, which is situated about 100km from Paris, is an historical wine region in the North East of France and is best known for its production of the eponymous sparkling wine. The area where grapes are allowed to be planted is strictly defined to ensure that the integrity of the region is maintained.

Vinification Details
Grapes are hand harvest during the day, before being transferred to the winery where alcoholic fermentation takes place at carefully controlled temperatures. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to round out the natural acidity, before being allowed to develop in bottle in the underground cellars of the Champagne House.

Wonderful taste!

I love a good champagne. Always ready to spend money on a good bottle. This one really surprised me. Great quality and taste for a great price. Its not too sharp and not too dry but has this fruity aftertaste. Will definitely recommend!

Very Dry

I usually like dry champagne but this has vermouth undertones which were unexpected. Not for me Im afraid.
