Castello® Danish Blue cheese has a fine, nutty, blue mould aroma with hints of marzipan and a soft bitterness of sourdough, making it a favourite for cooking and snacking. This cheese holds a PGI (protected geographical indication) status and can only be produced in Denmark following strictly controlled production methods.

Lovely strong danish blue

A really lovely strong, full flavoured blue cheese. I use it for so many things. I love it in a creamy sauce for pasta and on salads as well. It's so good just on its own as part of a cheese board, especially with quince jelly.

Subtle creamy blue cheese

I really enjoy Castello Danish blue cheese. It's subtle rather than harsh like some blue cheeses, lovely and creamy

Great for cheeseboard

a great addition to the cheese boards guests really enjoyed it. the smell is not overpowering and texture is creamy. the taste is good and not great for a blue cheese.

Mild and creamy. It doesn't have a mouldy rind so less wastage.
