The best

I so hope this keeps being available making it yourself means you can put as much or as little sugar as you require. Tastes like custard not synthetic gloop.

my favourite

So glad this is still available, my mum used to use this all the time and whilst the instant sachets are great for a quick custard, this powder is worth the little extra effort. Follow the instructions this is NOT the stuff you just throw hot water at and stir but you did used to be able to buy that in a jar so I can see where some confusion may have come from. This beats instant and tinned/carton hands down but Im determined to try making my own....one day!

great custard

Not sure why the low rating but this is great when made properly as stated below. Ive always boiled milk and sugar to make this and its a family favourite. I would definitely recommend this

proper custard

If you follow the instructions this is the best custard. Much better than instant ones. You must use milk, not water.

what the.....?

What on earth has happened to this custard powder???? I used to be able to just add boiling water to make it... but you are now required to add sugar and water and mix it yourself in a saucepan???? Where has the instant powder gone???? This is disgusting and the whole pot went in the bin after 1 taste. Would never waste my money on this again.
