Product Information

This wine's lemon, grapefruit and melon flavours will do your tastebuds a favour. This good-humoured, fruit-filled, citrussy Sauvignon Blanc may be understated but it's won bag of awards. Looking for a food match? It's a classic with a carbonara.

More about this product;

The Barefoot label says young and slightly irreverent - but the wine says grown-up, delicious, and very serious! No wonder this incredible Sauvignon Blanc has picked up an award or two along the way. It pours a light, straw colour with very pale green hues and fresh grassy, herbal scents fill the glass
before the citrussy lemon and grapefruit tastes kick in. It's got a nice light acidic tingle too.
This tasty tipple is lovely with lighter pasta, a carbonara maybe, or a clam linguine. That rarest of things, a talented Californian who doesn't shout about it!

Barefoot Wine & Bubbly got started in California in the 1960s. Its founders believed that wine should be more fun and less serious; and created a wine that could be enjoyed by everyone from first-time wine drinkers to hard-core aficionados. Barefoot Wine & Bubbly is the most awarded and #1 wine brand in the US and was introduced to the UK in 2007. Staying true to its grassroots beginnings Barefoot Wine & Bubbly gives back to local non-profit groups through charitable wine donations.

Vinification Details

The grapes for Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc were harvested at optimum ripeness during cool night temperatures to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. The winemaker selected particularly aromatic yeast strains and employed a moderate fermentation process, which together have enhanced the natural flavours and expressive mouthfeel of this wine. Proper storage after fermentation has preserved the natural bright flavours and balance in the wine.
