History
The region of Beaujolais was first cultivated by the Romans who planted the areas along its trading route up the Saone valley. In the 10th century, the region got its name from the town of Beaujeau, Rhone. The expansion of the railroad in the 19th century opened up the Parisen market. In the 1980s, Beaujolais hit a peak of popularity in the world's wine markets and is now undergoing a resurgence in popularity.

The Beaujolais Villages appellation is located in the northern part of the vineyard and includes 38 villages. The wines can be enjoyed young, Gamay, the emblematic grape variety of the Beaujolais region, expresses its full potential here: Beaujolais Villages are expressive, intensely fruity and fragrant.
