Regional Information
The Mendoza province is one of Argentina's most important wine regions, accounting for nearly two-thirds of the country's entire wine production. Located in the eastern foothills of the Andes. in the shadow of Mount Aconcagua, vineyards are planted at some of the highest altitudes in the world, with the average site located 1,970-3,610 feet (600-1,100 metres) above sea level.

I love this wine. I live in constant fear of it vanishing off the shelves. It has a reasonable alcohol level which allows for quaffing and at two bottles for £11 is very reasonable.

Suits my pallet very well. Bought on 2 for £11 deal, excellent value with prices as they are.

Lacks body

If I’d blind tasted this, I would never have said it was a Malbec, as it’s too light bodied. Unpleasantly acidic, not a smooth drinking wine. Sent as a substitute for my favourite one, at least I know not to accept it in future.
