Taylors of Harrogate Hot Lava Java Coffee Bags 10s 75g
Proper Coffee
These are less of a faff than using a machine or cafeteria and the coffee tastes just as good. It has a strong and smooth taste. They come in individual packets which are easy to open and the bags don't tear when you open them like you think is going to happen. They can be a little messy to strain and get to the bin before they drip. I never leave any drink in my cup but you have to with these because they're very sludgy in the bottom.

Cathedral City Naturally Smoked Cheddar Cheese 300g
Subtle Taste
My usual go to is mature cheddar and I thought I'd give this a go. Due to the smoked flavour, I wasn't sure what it would taste best with and started with plain crackers. I then moved onto melted on toast and now have it with most meats on sandwiches. It isn't too crumbly and grates well.

Hovis Tasty Wholemeal Medium Bread 800g
Very Soft
It's a while since I've bought wholemeal bread and I'm so glad I did. Each slice was soft and this was even after three days of opening. The best before date was four days after purchase. It tasted great toasted with both savoury or sweet topping. It didn't take lots of chewing like some bread can, it broke up easily in your mouth. I will definitely buy it again.

Pure Via Stevia Value Pack 370g
Not As Good As I Hoped
It comes in a good sized bag and goes a long way if you use the amounts recommended but is rather expensive. It looks quite fine grains but less corse than real sugar. The taste wasn't particularly like other false sweeteners but didn't give the resemblance of sugar. After a few days I got used to it but won't be buying it again when I've finished the bag.

Hovis Soft White Thick Bread 800g
Great for Lunch Boxes
My daughter will only eat white bread and I find cheaper brands don't last more than a couple of days. This lasted 4 days after opening and was still soft on its use by date. Some thick white bread can be doughy in texture but this wasn't at all. It makes great toast and even better toasties. You get what you pay for.
