Disappointing

Usually make my own shortcrust pastry but just this once to save on time I thought would give this a try for a quiche. Followed the instructions, room temperature, pound coin thickness and put in ithe flan tin including up the sides to blind bake for 10 mins. Result ? A pastry disc 1 cm short of the diameter of the tin and nothing up the sides! It shrinks so much. Back to my own in future I'm afraid.
