Cooking Guidelines
Cooking Instructions - General. Can be served hot or cold.; Hob - From Ambient. Empty contents into a saucepan and stir gently while heating. Do not boil as this will impair the flavour.; Microwave - From Ambient. (800W 2 mins). Empty contents into a microwaveable container and cover. Heat on full power for 1 minute. Stir, then heat for a further 1 minute. Check that product is hot before serving.

Drain before use.
Recipes
Our recipe suggestion
Thinly sliced some onions and fry some bacon; once browned add the lentils and heat gently. Serve with chopped parsley.
To serve cold: drain and rinse the lentils. Mix with some walnut oil vinaigrette and chopped shallots.
Serve with gammon.
Cold: Drain and use in salads.
Hot: Gently heat with the liquid for a few minutes in a saucepan.

Best Canned Lentils Ever!
I usually suffer after eating lentils, but these lentils are incredible.No stomach bloating at all and they taste great.

good value
not quite sure what type of lentils these are, they're a bit of a cross between Brown and green, and moderately mushy. Having said that, they're really cheap and so quick and easy to add to stews, soups or salads when you don't want to cook dried lentils. good enough for every day
