More about this product;
Côtes du Rhône has always been a favourite with the French. So much so that strict rules governing its production had to be put in place in the 16th century to stop people trying to pass off inferior plonk as the real thing. Thankfully those rules are still in place, so you can enjoy a good glass of this fabulously fruity French tipple, safe in the knowledge that it's the real deal. It's absolutely great with a meaty pasta like lasagne, roast beef or just a simple chargrilled steak with a stack of chunky chips.

I'm getting bright notes of furniture polish.

Not a bad wine at all!
Excellent for the price
Brilliantly drinkable, smooth and full of flavour. Dark fruit and some earthy notes. Very easy to drink.
Mysterious wine? But which?
I'm fond of hearty Burgundy reds as I am partial to Boeuf Bourgignon at any time of the year. So I thought I'd give this wine a try with an initial purchase of two bottles. Crazy as it may seem to you, but they contained two different wines! The first bottle was satisfactory, although not quite as full bodied as I would have liked, but when it came to the second bottle, it was clearly superior, being more full bodied and having a more complex taste. Frankly, I don't understand this, and if I were of a suspicious mind, I'd suspect some shenanigans going on at the winery. How can the same lable wine be different in two bottles, especially when they are both supposed to be 2015 vintage? Now, if I could guarantee getting identical bottles of the second bottle I had, I'd willingly buy a case! And my star rating would be a 5. Except when dealing with different vintages from the same producer, I've never experienced anything like this before.
great wine
This is a smooth wine with a taste of fruit, easy drinking , and a good after taste. No bitterness
