Triple maturation is the secret behind the award-winning taste of Whyte & Mackay.
Stage 1: The finest malt & grain whiskies, matured for many years, are carefully selected by our Master Blender.
Stage 2: Next, they are each combined in sherry casks and matured once again.
Stage 3: Finally the aged malts & grains are blended and returned to cask one final time to attain a perfect harmony of flavours.

Great Buy

For sale price of £14 this offer is generous/ not a Malt but still gets five stars for value for money and a drink to enjoy without braking the bank..

Suprisingly Good!

Bought due to being on offer for first time, its equivelant price, Morrisons own, this is far far superior... Morrisons own is dirty harsh tap water in comparison. Im a JD man, usually only buy it other than on a budget, genuinly expected this to be similar to cheap brands, but no.... its smooth, and although a different taste to JD, best whisky I've bought in a long time!! Ps yes i know JD is bourbon!... This is a Defo alternative to JD, will be buyin again...

A more sweeter taste than the norm, but that is my preference. Not sophisticated or complicated just a nice sweet whiskey to end the day.

Best Blended

For a decade I always rated Grouse as the best blended. For the last couple of years, this is better.

Best blend buy

This is a TRUE scotch blend. Great value for money, a MUST buy on offer. Excellent taste, a perfect every-day whisky

Best cheap option of the lot

Notes of caramel and burnt marmalade with a smooth vanilla oakiness. Not the subtleties of a decent single malt, hence not a 5 star, but an excellent whisky for coffee and porridge etc.
