I don't know if Vileda have cheapened the plastic used on this bucket, because a friend has one which has been fine for years - but mine broke on the first use. I'll try another but don't hold out much hope, the plastic on the mop wringer is very thin, and you have to push pretty hard for it to fully wring the mop. A shame because the design is great otherwise.
This Vileda bucket is so much better than the blue ones you previously stocked. The bucket is more robust but more importantly, the so called 'power press' insert for squeezing out the water from the mop, is flexible enough that it doesn't crack/split.
The ones that came with the previously stocked blue buckets failed after only a few uses.
Keep stocking the Vileda products.
