Delicious
Depending on your oven might need to cook a little longer to get the skins crispy but get that right and they are wonderful, the filling inside is excellent and they hardly reduce in size. Have become my go to sausages.
Sausages
Spot on great texture and flavour! No idea why there is a complaint about the skin?
Dreadful
The skin was tough and chewy, and the hard bit of gristle finished me off and they all went in the bin. Don’t waste your money
Lovely on the inside
These have a lovely flavour and cook well but the skins are so tough and chewy we scraped out the contents and threw skins away! It's a shame but won't buy again...toughest skins I've ever come across.
Great for Scotch Eggs as well as frying.
I regularly make Scotch eggs with these after popping them out of their gut casing. No fat comes out, the breadcrumbs staying dry and crisp. Consequently I think they are lower fat than claimed. I also roast the sometimes which can make the casing a little tougher but I still consider these some of the best sausages on the market. I feel qualified to say this as I am a retired butcher with both a supermarket and an organic farm background.
TOUGH SKIN
