another drink spoilt by the nanny state
I understand the desire to have a healthier populace, but using sweetners instead of sugar has destroyed , ability to enjoy this drink. It now reacts with my throat, making breathing more difficult. I never knew I had allergies until I had drinks with aspartame & acesulfame k.
Sweeteners are as bad as sugar
Same as other customer, sweeteners are poison like sugar. I don't have an allergy but they cause me diarrhea, specially acesulfame k and aspartame
Watch out for the sweeteners...
I have a severe allergic reaction to sweeteners so cant buy any more soon I wont be able to have anything to drink but water. We should reduce sugar, I understand, but why in every single option in a brand? We already have diet, low-cal, light and zero options in most brands so why remove the option of sweetener free as well? Are sweeteners cheaper than sugar? If so its a great excuse for cost cutting whilst appearing to care about obesity... but thats just my opinion. If companies keep putting sweeteners in the 1 option that usually contains only sugar, I suggest they put now contains sweeteners on the front, to prevent people like me ending up in A&E with blocked airways from allergic reactions to sweeteners. Even NEW RECIPE would help as it would prompt me to check ingredients list. I do know of 2 fizzy drinks that are sold as light or reduced sugar that have a great way of cutting calories... they just add less sugar. They are usually cost prohibitive though.
