Great Bacon
Lovely product. Regular in our basket!
One pack spoiled and the other mainly fat
We brought spoiled pig bacon for ages then one week we had two packs of which one wasn’t sealed, the following week we had a pack which was mainly fat. We emailed spoiled pig who ignored us. Morrisons promptly responded and refunded. Now buying Morrisons own bacon.
Excellent stuff
Very tasty bacon cut to just the right thickness to allow it to become gloriously crispy. I previously dry-fried my bacon slowly. But I picked up a chef's tip online that recommended cooking streaky bacon quickly over medium-high heat in pre-heated oil to just cover for really crispy results. The results looked good so against my instincts, I tried it. It produces the greatest crispy bacon I've ever had - and due to the high temperature cooking, with a brief draining on kitchen paper is not at all greasy. I still dry-fry back bacon, but for dry-cured streaky this is the method I will always use in future. Can't wait for it to be back in stock!
Tastes great - the only bacon I will buy.
Love the taste and no water cooks out or white goo. Yes, when it's cooked the fat is rendered which makes the slices smaller. This is normal. I would love it if they offered a thick-sliced version which would be even better. It would cost more for a 12 slice pack because it would weigh more, but I'd buy it.
Good quality
I'm always happy with this bacon. It's not too thin, not too fatty. Not the cheapest but you pay for quality.

Gorgeous flavour not overly salty like alot of smoked bacon. Perfection!!! This is my go to bacon now, well worth spending a bit extra and makes it all the better knowing it's from happy pigs!
