Tasting Notes
Colour: Bright pale straw-yellow with a very delicate perlage. Bouquet: very fruity and aromatic, with hints of wisteria flowers and Rennet apples. Flavour: Very well-balanced and appealing, with a delicate almond note that is typical of Prosecco.
History
Up until the 1960s, Prosecco sparkling wine was generally rather sweet and barely distinguishable from the Asti wine produced in Piedmont. Since then, production techniques have improved, leading to the high-quality dry wines produced today.According to a 2008 New York Times report, Prosecco has sharply risen in popularity in markets outside Italy, with global sales growing by double-digit percentages since 1998.
Regional Information
The Prosecco DOC production area is located in northeast Italy, more precisely in the territories of 5 Veneto provinces (Treviso, Venice, Vicenza, Padua, Belluno) and 4 provinces in Friuli Venezia Giulia (Gorizia, Pordenone, Trieste and Udine), one of the most stunning areas in the Italian peninsula.

Sorso, just one sip, was all it took🤢

Sorso, meaning sip, after just one sip of this prosecco, you'll be putting your glass down, with no intention of picking it up again, it's terrible, why do supermarkets sell undrinkable wine.

Good

Always stock up on this when it’s on offer, not quite as fizzy as others but can’t fault it for the price.

Sorso Prosecco

I don’t normally leave reviews but having bought this Prosecco on my last order to try it for the first time as it was on offer despite having read the reviews I now wished I hadn’t. I have drank lots of different Proseccos and never disliked any of them until now after trying this one. Please don’t waste your money because it is vile. It tasted like cork and a load of nothing. In fact, after the first glass I threw the rest of the bottle away!!!

not the best tasting, but cheap

Theres not much flavour or depth to this Prosecco, but its cheap and ok. It does however tend to give me an almost instant headache.

Cheap and Cheerful

If you are after something very fizzy and expensive this isn't the one for you. Good value for money

No depth

I had a bottle of this and a bottle of non alcoholic Prosecco. I actually thought this was the non alcoholic version. Absolutely no depth at all and I’ll drink pretty much any Prosecco. Disappointing.
