The bars have a slice sneakily removed from them - they're about 10% smaller than they used to be. The soap is fine but this is deceptive as they look the same in the wrapper.
I've been using Simple soap for nearly 25 years, but I found the new-to-me changes unacceptable. They told me they changed it in March 2022, but the new product is only recently in my local store. I find the new smell disgusting, I hate that it now creates a horrid scum in my shower filter, I don’t like the smaller size, I don’t like the new curved shape, and I don’t like that it now runs out much more quickly. I've been in touch with their customer relations, and the only point of my review on which they commented was about the new shape, which they say is better. I've found a suitable non-perfumed alternative (sorry, I can't advertise here), and will not be buying Simple soap again. I'm not surprised that two well-known chemists are no longer showing it on their websites.
No overpowering stink. No slimy hands even after rinsing. Just Simple soap. Never realised how much I missed this until I had to accept some revolting Dove soap bars.
