History
New Zealand wine is renowned for its fresh, intense and vibrant flavours. The cool temperatures allows flavours to develop whilst retaining a fresh and well balanced acidity.
Regional Information
Located on the east coast of New Zealand's South Island, Marlborough is one of the sunniest and driest areas, with mountains located to the west. The average daily temperature during summer is nearly 24 degrees C but clear cool nights keep acid levels high in the grapes.

Vinification Details
The growing season was near perfect during spring, with healthy vines and good crop levels, with cool, sunny days during autumn. Flavours developed early with the high sunshine hours, and acidity was retained because of the cool nights. Harvest in late March and early April was compressed but grapes were harvested in exceptional condition.

Light and cheerful quaffer
This is a very good value glassful of light and delicious fruity offering from the Marlborough region. Good front of mouth tastiness, warm tropical fruit, light on finish but that just makes it very drinkable.

bargain at 6 for £30!
I only drink Sauvignon Blanc, chose this for the 6 for £30 deal and it's really good! A proper zesty Marlborough with good flavour, no bad head in the morning so will be buying again when on offer.

Cheap and Very Cheerful
A bit lightweight but nose and flavour is typical. Good value decent swigger. Despite being bulk-shipped and bottled at one of the uk's mega-bottlers it may well improve with six months in the dark.
