Not super authentic but hey even in China the Kung Po tastes different in different area so for me it doesn’t matter it didn’t taste like the Kung Po I grew up eating- it’s still tasty and my kids love it cause it’s sweet and goes well with chicken and rice. Will buy again.
love sharwoods sauces but not a fan of this one.....a bit too sweet for my taste
Lovely sauce for a quick meal. I like to add chicken and extra veg like peppers and sugarsnap peas, and peanuts. Yummy!
I don't think I've had this type of Chinese meal before. I quite liked, different but flavoursome. Good, good price midweek option.
We loved the flavour of this sauce, it's sweet, rich and not too spicy. We added chicken and spring onions and served it with rice. The whole family enjoyed it and it's good value considering it made three meals. It's a great alternative to a takeaway - much more convenient if you have one in the cupboard and much cheaper!
I cooked King Prawns with it. It turned our very delicious but it was too sweet. Not for Diabetic People like me.
