Fantatsic mix :)
I love using this seasoning mix when I cook chicken and Leeks together. I either make a sliced potato topped pie or a pasta bake or just add mushrooms and other veg and serve with mash. I prefer to use unsweetened plant milk or skimmed milk and find that it works fine with them.
Lacked flavour.
I decided to try this-many Schwartz mixes are good, but not impressed!! It all took longer to cook than stated, and just lacked any real flavour. Will not buy again.
makes a beautiful pasta bake!
I usually use philly and milk to make the sauce for a pasta bake with bacon and leeks but this sachet is a game changer!! I have already added another two to my basket.
lovely
Have made this a couple of times now and have used in a pie too and always turns out perfect. Last time I made it I topped with breadcrumbs and cheese, stinky teen and I polished the lot off the same night. Scrumptious and fool proof and great when in the offers. Agreed that you dont need as much liquid as they say and you can definitely decrease according to taste
Tasty Sauce
best sauce ever for chicken
Very tasty
Tasty, easy mix to use. I tend to add a little less milk than suggested to make the sauce a little thicker. Very nice topped with cheese, or topped with puff pastry to make a very tasty chicken and leek pie. Yummy!
