Inedible
This chicken kiev is truly one of the worst gluten free items i have ever bought. the chicken is clearly of a very low quality and tastes disgusting. Very disappointed

Could easily be better..
Many of these lack any filling. When there is filling it is a little bland. The chicken is that mechanically reclaimed guff.. At this price, I'd expect a real piece of chicken and detectable filling. If you cook them -just- right, you do get crisp coating- which I quite liked- and a tiny hint of buttery filling, and the chicken isn't too unpleasant. I keep buying them as no-one offers an alternative.

Really quite unpleasant
"Soggy" is the best way to describe the texture of these. It is processed and reshaped chicken, it has that synthetic flavour to it. The coating on the outside is, well, I don't quite know what it is but it is not bread, even bad GF bread tastes better. I have to say I'm very disappointed. I've enjoyed most of the Schar products, this is just dreadful. I have always made my own Kievs, it is time consuming but they are lovely. I was hoping these would be at least as good as "normal" ones, after all, it is only a matter of using GF crumbs instead of normal. Just don't waste money.

awful
These chicken kievs are like eating a sponge. The 'chicken' at this price should be real, these are minced & shaped. After 7 years without a decent Kiev I was hoping for more from these as some of the other products are ok, what a disappointment. Little to 'is there anything in it' filling. Why are companies allowed to rip us coeliacs/intolerant people off with our food. Not only on the price but also on the quality. At nearly £1.50 per Kiev, daylight robbery.

they're ok for quick freezer food.
i thought these were OK. as with most freezer food the chicken isn't the best quality. there is nowhere near enough garlic filling but they are ok and i would possibly buy again.
