Royal gulabjam
Love these I find one is enough ,lots of juice that I also use on pancakes , may try to add some rum to them .
5 small dough balls in tub of syrup
Soggy. Imagine a small plain doughnut you dropped in syrup and left it in a week then warm it up. I've got to have heated them incorrectly
INDIAN DESSERT
I would ignore the bizarre 1* reviews from these odd people who keep eating these yet claim to hate them... These are INDIAN milk flour dough balls, fried then soaked in syrup. You're left with soft sweet sponge balls. ALWAYS EAT WARM! I like mine hot after a spicy curry. If you're expecting an apple crumble or a spotted dick when you open this, like some reviewera here, I would pass because these are Indian!
yummy
this is so delicious especially when heated up in the microwave with ice cream! yum!
Delicious
I'm not sure some reviewers realise that this is an indian dessert made with powdered milk which accounts for density and in a light syrup. It's the perfect end to an Indian meal and we loved them the sweetness cleansing the pallet

This looked and sounded like it was going to be nice but it wasn't. I enjoy sweet things but this was disgustingly sweet like runny syrup soup. I can't really think of a way to describe the sponge balls, they were just horrible. Annoyingly I'm sure that this is the second time that I've tried these, I really must try to remember that they're nasty.
