Come alive with the seasons of Japan with every sip of Roku gin. In Japan, Roku means "the number six", and each bottle is infused with six unique Japanese botanicals that ripen throughout the year. The fresh and clean aroma of Roku gin flows in to flavors of floral cherry blossom (sakura) and earthy sencha (green tea). The best way to serve is in a Japanese twist on the classic G&T. Pour over ice and top up with tonic water. Garnish with thin slices of ginger to bring out the gin's unique herbal and citrus notes.Roku gin celebrates all four seasons of Japan, and its botanicals are carefully harvested at the peak of their season—the "shun". Sakura leaves and flowers are handpicked in spring, with Sencha and Gyokuro teas being plucked in summer. In fall it's time for the spicy Sansho pepper, and the zingy Yuzu fruit bursts into ripeness in winter. They are captured, distilled and blended harmoniously in each bottle so drinkers can experience a year in Japan with every sip. Roku gin is a celebration of the bounty of nature and careful craftsmanship, drawing upon more than a century of distilling experience and expertise.

This is not your standard gin…

This is one of the loveliest gin’s I have tasted. The experience I have had with other types of gin is that it has taken a few sips to adapt to the taste - I don’t get that with this gin, it is instantly tasty. I also really like the look of the bottle in my drinks cabinet and it’s taken pride of place at the front :) I didn’t want to open the bottle but temptation gave in. Owning, opening and drinking this gin is a whole experience - from the aroma you get when you open the bottle and how special it feels when poring your first drink to taking your first sip - an utter delight. I have previously brought this gin for a friends birthday gift, but at the time buying something I hadn’t tasted myself was risky. She did assure me it was really lovely - I can now agree :) I would buy this gin again, especially for enjoying with some ice in the summer.

One of my favourite go to gins now!

Received a bottle at christmas and has quickly become one of my favourite gins! One of the best things is that i'm able to drink this neat as it has such a wonderful flavour but also thoroughly enjoyed in the typical G&T fashion.

Clean, drinkable, unique gin

I tried this gin on the rocks with tonic and lime, as I normally do, and it was amazing. I also had it neat. It is drinkable in a cocktail, pairs well with citrus, but also delicious on its own. This will be replacing the standard gin in my cabinet going forward.

Delicious, delicate, refreshing, sophisticated.

I have recently been lucky enough to sample this fancy SUNTORY Roku Gin recently, it is delicious! Awesome with a slice of grapefruit or blood orange, but lovely on it's own with tonic too. Made with 6 botanicals; sakura flower, Yuzu peel, sencha tea, sansho pepper, sakura leaf and Gyokuro tea. Never heard of it before now but would definitely buy again and recommend to friends and family. Delicately floral, perfectly balanced with the crisp refreshing tea flavours, I think this is my new favourite gin! So easily quaffable!

Great tasting gin!

I'm a gin lover and was lucky enough to sample this for free, as part of a product sampling programme. It's definitely a gin that I would buy and recommend. I don't like gin paired with tonic, I much prefer it with lemonade, which this goes really well with. It's very easy to drink and worth the money.
