Great alternative
Amazing product, great for plenty dinner ideas. Absolutely love to marinade it in different sauces. Always filling dinner.
Really don’t recommend
I had high hopes as I like most meat-free products but this tasted really awful. It tasted almost like plastic and had an aftertaste of washing up liquid! Had to drown it in sauce to make it somewhat edible.
Juicy, versatile meat alternative
These are great in a curry, casserole, stir fry or on whole with a sauce or gravy on! They hold their moisture more than some of the other quorn products. Even better when theyre on offer for £1 a bag!
addictive and versatile
We love these. Wrapped up in foil with a bit of garlic and chilli makes a lovely meal
A Meat Eaters Review
I am a big meat eater and have always enjoyed eating meat, last year I began a healthier diet and found myself eating 'regular' chicken daily. Because of that I decided I'd try Quorn chicken as it has impressive nutrient values, now I have to say that you do know it's not 'chicken' but it's not awful. It has a different texture than I expected, and seemed to dry out pretty quickly. It's easy to cook which is a bonus but after eating this daily for a week, the taste just stopped being 'different but okay' and started being a. Bit overwhelming. I went back to normal chicken. I wouldn't go out of my way to buy or eat this again - the taste of chicken is very artificial that it almost tastes plasticky.
Lovely!
Great added to a curry, firmer in texture than the small chicken style pieces which a find too crumbly. Great price and often on offer so amazingly cheap at 99p to feed a family of 3/4.
