Not up to Pukka normal standards
I did not like the taste of this pie, I would imagine that wet cardboard or wallpaper paste would taste similarly. The pasty was OK, there was plenty of filling and even the texture of the fake meat was reasonable, it just tasted not quite right.

Liked And Enjoyed
The gravy was thick and for me yummy, pastry was nice, and though I'm not a vegan or vegetarian I like how the meat substitute was tender. Too many times over the years I've had beef pies where the beef was tough or too much gristle which has put me off buying again. Nice to have an enjoyable pie and not have gristle or tough meat spoil my enjoyment.
