Less and less meat
In my neck of the woods in Sweden, serious cooks make everything from scratch. But when I am in the UK and very busy, I always stock up on these. At least I used to. I used to LOVE these meatballs, and happily recommended them to others over the years as being genuinely Swedish and far superior to the ones sold at Ikea. And then something happened: the taste changed. I'm Coeliac so am extremely careful about ingredients, but this was one of those reliable products which had become a staple in my house so I had stopped checking the ingredients list with every purchase. What changed? There was now far less meat than there had previously been, and therefore a lot more filler. And while the meat content has sunk, the price has been dramatically increasing. No longer a staple item for me. I'll be better off making my own.
weird taste
weird taste and really mushy in the middle. Probably highly processed and mostly fat
Terrific gluten free meatballs
They are so terrific and appear on and off in stock. Please do stock them each month, they are delicious and gluten-free.
deeeeelish
Very nice with chips and gravy
Family favourite
Mmm the whole family loves these. So convenient as they are frozen and can be cooked in the oven. Dont understand the comments about texture, cant see any problems. My husband likes them with cranberry sauce, the kids like gravy. One of our staples.
Fabulous
Cooked slowly in a good sauce that brings out the flavour (I do add a little garlic ),then eaten with pasta & crusty or garlic bread , followed by Tiramisu and a glass or two of Pinot , and that's my Italian night complete😋
