Recipes

To make 8 Stand 'N' Stuff Soft Tacos you will need:
500g minced beef, Old El Paso™ Garlic & Paprika Taco Seasoning Mix, Old El Paso™ Thick 'n' Chunky Salsa, 1 lettuce, 2 tomatoes and 125g grated cheese.

To make 8 Stand 'N' Stuff Tacos
1. Sizzle your filling:
Brown mince in a pan, then drain off any excess liquid.
Add seasoning mix and 150ml cold water, stir and bring to the boil.
Reduce the heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2. Warm it up:
Do not oven heat or microwave tortillas in the plastic package
Take the tortillas out of their packaging and separate them.
To microwave: place on a microwaveable plate on full power for 30 seconds.
To oven heat: pre-heat the oven to 165°C (it's still 165°C for fan assisted ovens) / gas mark 3.
Wrap the tortillas in foil and place on a baking tray in the oven for 7-9 minutes.

3. Stand, fill and top:
Fill the Stand 'N' Stuff Soft Flour Tortillas with meaty filling and top with freshly diced tomatoes, chopped lettuce, salsa and grated cheese - delicious!

Do not heat or microwave tortillas in package; Microwave - From Ambient. Heat for 30 secs on full power (800 watts); Oven cook - From Ambient. Wrap in foil or greaseproof paper. Heat for 7-9 minutes at 165ºC (145°C fan-equipped ovens).

love these but mouldy!!

I love these as do my children but my latest pack were covered in black mould. Noticed when I took the outer cardboard off so they were still sealed and had months left on the best before date!!

Low calorie alternative

Yes, a bit tricky to eat, but only 71 calories! That’s half a normal wrap. We’ve bought many times now. Nice to have a tasty wrap alternative.

Yes and No

Loved the idea of these and they do taste nice but so messy to eat!! The filling just fell out as soon as I bit into it.

Horrible and messy

Bought these for the first time thinking they would be less messy and easier to eat. On the contrary, my partner got the filling all over his nose, beard and moustache and I all over my nose and round my face. We might just as well have been feeding from a trough. Should have named them 'SQUISH & SPLAT' !!! A knife and fork is the only way to eat these.The wrap was not the normal texture but hard and tasteless. Do the manufacturers ever try food out before launching new products.The original wraps are so much easier to eat.

great for adults and children!

Such a tastey versatile product. make eating wraps easy for children, but also great for making cheat pies for dinner too, just with a pastry top!love love love.
