Recipes
Ingredients
500g/1lb approx Brown Bread Mix
350ml - 400ml/12fl oz - 14fl oz of cold milk
Flat baking sheet or 18cm/7" round cake tin
Top Tip...
Milk other than cow's milk can be used but may produce a lighter crust colour when baked.
To Make
1. Preheat oven to 400°F, 200°C, Gas 6.
2. Weigh out 500g/1lb approx. of mix and put into a bowl.
3. Add sufficient milk to form a soft dough.
4. Knead the dough a little on a floured surface and turn the smooth side up.
5. Cut a cross over the top and place in a floured 18cm/7"cake tin or place on a floured baking sheet.
6. Bake for 40 minutes approximately. When baked the bread will have a hollow sound if tapped on the base.
7. Cool on a wire tray. A tea towel wrapped over the bread at this stage helps to give a softer crust.
Enjoy!

Finally, a bread that\x27s yeast\-free!
So happy to have this option online. It's so easy to make and if you're yeast intolerant and love bread, this is your go-to! You can even make it with non-dairy milk if you're a vegan or otherwise need to avoid cow's milk. Sadly it is not available in store in spite of aisles upon aisles of gluten-free products. Finally we have at least ONE product for those of us who yeast-intolerant.
easy to .ake

Quality flour mix
Excellent soda bread mix, just add milk. Easiest bread to make. Very tasty wholemeal bread...
I stumbled (thankfully) on this product
What a joy! Simple & easy to make (did mine in the air fryer), tasty wholesome filling bread, fantastic toasted, and as an open sandwich with your choice of toppings. I will always have them in the larder now
Delicious bread
This bread mix is so handy to make soda bread. So easy to make as well. Probably the quickest I’ve ever made a loaf of bread. Great taste of it as well. Tastes as good as the bread you would buy in a bakery back home
Brown bread
Love it. Add a handful of porridge if you like and especially on top of it.
