Apply generously before sun exposure enough to give a visible layer before rubbing in, let it dry then reapply to ensure adequate coverage and no missed areas.
Reapply frequently especially after swimming, perspiring and toweling.
Applying insufficient product will lower the level of protection.
Avoid intensive and mid-day sun (11-3pm).
Allow to absorb completely and avoid contact with textiles and hard surfaces to prevent staining.
Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight.

Really Good
I bought this to use on my toddler and am very impressed. Easy to use, far less mess then when trying to chase a toddler round with a bottle of lotion and seems to last ages. My little one catches the sun v v easily and this seems to protect her lots. Would recommend.

Avoid.
With all the new forms of sun protection available creating a mess-free non-sticky application I thought a roll on would be ideal. I was even happy to pay the extra (similar price to sprays, just a smaller volume). I think I expected something similar to a deodorant roll on. How wrong was I!? This is the same liquid as the spray/ bottle form. The application itself was very uneven, creating large white splodges everywhere. When the rollerball is depressed the cream literally runs from it. I was using it down the top of my forearm and it was dripping all over the floor. I thought the application method would mean you wouldn't have to rub it in so beware you will still need to smear it on. At least with the other bottles you can control how much comes out. This is a waste of money to say it's the same old formula.
