Herby Potato Gratin
You will need:
- 1 small knob of butter
- 500ml full-fat milk
- 500ml double cream
- 2 bay leaves, 3 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed, salt, cracked black pepper
- 8-9 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced 3-4mm
- Handful of fresh thyme, finely chopped
- 50g grated Cheddar cheese
- 50g grated parmesan cheese
- 100g Mr Crumb Sage & Onion Stuffing
Serves 5
What to do:
1. Pre-heat oven to 200°C/Fan 180°C/Gas mark 4.
2. Rub the butter all over the surface of an oven proof dish - 30cm x 30 cm x 6cm deep.
3. Pour the cream and milk into a saucepan. Add the garlic & bay leaves. Bring to the boil and then simmer for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the heat and season with salt, pepper & thyme.
4. Add the potatoes to the cream and milk, bring to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes.
5. Using a slotted spoon remove the potatoes and layer the potato slices in the dish, slightly overlapping the slices, sprinkling a little parmesan & Cheddar cheese between layers.
6. Strain the garlic infused cream to remove the bay leaves and garlic and then pour the cream over the potatoes, just enough to seep through the layers and leave a little moisture on the surface. Place in the oven on the middle shelf and cook for about 25 minutes.
7. Remove from oven, sprinkle the Mr. Crumb Sage & Onion Stuffing over the top. Pop back into the oven for another 10-15 minutes until it is gorgeous and crispy on top.
8. Leave to sit for 3-4 minutes. Serve & enjoy with roast chicken stuffed with Mr Crumb Sage & Onion Stuffing.

Cooking Guidelines
Always check the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat.; Microwave - From Chilled. Remove card sleeve and pierce film lid several times. Place tray on a microwaveable plate, cook for time indicated. Once cooked, remove film lid. Fork through and serve.

900W 2 mins; Oven cook - From Chilled. Remove card sleeve and pierce film several times. Preheat oven to 180°C / 160°C Fan / Gas mark 4. Place on a baking tray on the middle shelf of the oven. Cook for time indicated.
Once cooked, remove film lid. Fork through and serve. For a crispier eat remove film halfway through cooking.

Best stuffing
This stuffing is SO good. It’s beautifully crunchy and crumbly when done in the oven, whilst still being moist. We love this in a warm baguette with sliced chicken and gravy mayonnaise

I often search "gluten free" because options are constantly changing, and this came up as gluten free. It is not. I hadn't realised until after we ate it. I made me very ill.

Better than any other Stuffing!
Mr. Crumb Stuffing was the Highlight of our Christmas & New Year's Dinners. It was Ready in 20mins from the Oven and had a Beautiful Bronzing. It's Delicious, Award Winning and Worth Every Penny! It's now firmly on our Shopping List. We love the taste. Can't wait to have it again with Sunday Dinner this weekend!
