How to cook
Cooking appliances vary. These instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the product is piping hot throughout before serving. Ensure product is thoroughly cooked and that juices run clear and that no pink colour remains. If product is frozen, defrost thoroughly and cook as chilled. Do not reheat.
Not suitable for microwave cooking.
Oven from Chilled
200°C, 400°F, Gas 6 60 min
Pre-heat your oven as shown. Remove film from foil tray. Put layer of foil over foil tray and place in middle of the oven for 30 minutes, remove foil, stir and cook for further 30 minutes. To ensure chicken is fully cooked, insert a skewer into the thickest part of the meat. If the juices run clear, not pink, it is fully cooked.
Safety
Do not wash poultry before cooking. Store raw meat covered at the bottom of the fridge. Use separate kitchen utensils and surfaces for raw poultry and cooked foods or wash them thoroughly in between use. Wash hands after handling raw meat and poultry. Unwrap and dispose of packaging carefully.

Did I just get a bad batch?
I got this to save a little time in the mornings when I usually prep stuff for the slow cooker. It was well in date but some of the veg was browning, the swede hadnt been peeled, and where there were drumsticks, little pieces of bone were loose in with the stock in the packet. I couldnt risk missing any of the bone so ditched it. Not worth the convenience in this case.

Perfect
Lovely meal can't fault it and as far as other review saying you can make your own? Sure you can, you can grow the vegetables and rear your own chickens and slaughter then ya self, of course you can make it yourself but IT'S ONLY THREE QUID!

Make your own this is rubbish. Hard veg watery sauce vvvv small chicken pieces. Waste of money. Deserves no stars.

Very Tasty
Got this to try and I'm glad I did. I slow cooked it in the oven and the meat was so tender. The only down side for me was a little too much salt but it won't stop me from buying it again. A lovely meal that's got 5 small portions of chicken excellent for a quick meal if you don't want to faff about cooking. Goes lovely with chips, mash or jacket potato and cauli or other veg.

Onion casserole
Love this onion casserole, full of onion favourite. I would recommend to my onion loving friends and family. Especially the way they use chicken bits to garnish the dish.
