the Best Melon
Its a very sweet and tasty melon. The trick is to eat it only on its expiry date. It becomes very sweet if you leave it until its expiry date and then enjoy it
Really tasty and sweet
Received this as a substitute for our of stock honey dew and wow what a pleasant surprise as it was so sweet.
Very small melon, short dated and poor quality
The melon I received was very small, the use by date was the next day, and already had mushy feeling dark dips in the skin, so really not great quality. I won't be ordering this variety of melon again. I don't understand how the pickers think it's okay to pick items in this condition - I would never choose one like this if I was in the shop. I've had the honeydew melon several times before, and that has always been a reasonable size and in good condition, so I'll be sticking with that variety from now on.
Galia Melons
Small. spongy and tasteless. So disappointed with my recent delivery.
not worth trying
while much of the fruit bought online is excellent, these melons are very variable and frequently barely worth eating. often half the size of a usual melon, and at other times strangely impervious to ripening before rotting.
Not recommended
We have purchased several of these melons and unfortuantely twe wouldn't recommend them being quite spongy and with little taste. Perhaps they get forzen during transportation/storage?
