Not worth it
Got it in the shopping and it looked like the end of a heavily processed sausage. Cooked it and it literally looks like play dough. Heavily salted rubber the whole lot has gone in the bin even the dog won't touch it. That's Sunday dinner scrapped
Rubbery \x26 Unpleasant
One of the worst hams I've ever bought.
Rubbery and Tasteless.
After six hours in a slow cooker with the usual additions to the stock the totally lean joint turned out tough with a rubbery texture and utterly tasteless. It squeaked as I carved it! After the first unpleasant meal it's hard to think what I can do with the remainder except bin it.
WHAT NO FAT!!
I cant find anything bad to say, cooked in a slow cooker not chewy not salty but i do like a bit of fat for added flavour
Very tasty!
I’ve been buying these joints for quite a long time now and they’re the best by far. There’s hardly any fat on them and they always cook beautifully. Great value for money too.
cook in slo cooker with bit of water in the bottom
I cook as above pouring honey on top so it soaked down during cooking. Im cooking for one so I make two roast dinners and freeze one portion. Cold ham and salad then enough for sandwiches and leftovers go in batch quiches and batch pea and ham soup! For me its win win !
