Preparation and Usage
Just add:
25g unsalted butter, 20ml cold water and willpower (so you don't eat them all at once!)
What you'll need:
25g of unsalted butter
(plus a bit extra for greasing)
20ml of water
A wooden spoon
A mixing bowl
A baking tray
A wire cooling rack
How to make perfect cookies:
Cooking appliances vary.
These instructions are given as a guide.
1. Set your oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas Mark 5 and leave it to warm up.
2. Grease a baking tray with a little butter.
3. Now, empty the cookie mix into a mixing bowl and add the softened butter.
4. Rub it together with your fingers to form a crumbly dough.
5. Next, add the water slowly, mixing as you go.
6. Once the dough is smooth and sticks together in a ball, divide it into six equal sized balls and roll between your hands.
7. Flatten the balls into discs and place them on the greased baking tray, about 5cm apart.
8. Place the tray in the centre of your oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until your cookies are crisps on the outside.
9. When they're ready, take your cookies out of the oven and leave them to cool on a wire rack. Just try to resist eating them straight away.
Top tip:
If you like your cookies chewy, take them out of the oven a little early and leave them on the hot baking tray. They'll carry on cooking slowly on the tray, without the intense heat of the oven.

Dry
Very easy to make with clear instructions but don't rate the taste. Tasted dry and lacked chocolate flavour.

Delicious!
Bought these to make with my children when it was a rainy day, they are so easy to make I left the kids to it, the instructions were clear and the end product was the most chocolatey soft and slightly chewy cookies I've ever had - big thumbs up! Only grumble is there was enough for six cookies and they lasted two minutes but I'll buy twice as much next time!
