More about this product;
Pinotage is South Africa's flavourful answer to Pinot Noir but it was very nearly the wine that never was. In 1925 Professor Perold at Stellenbosch University crossed the robust Cinsault grape with Pinot Noir, a difficult grape to grow. He planted the seeds, then got a new job, left and promptly forgot about them. The garden became overgrown and the fledgling vines seemed lost forever. Fate stepped in in the form of a young professor who rescued the vines just as a team of gardeners arrived with shears. The first wine was produced in 1941 and what a beauty this style has turned out to be. A complex wine with a fantastic history, it really is one not to be missed.

Is this really \x22The Best\x22 you can do?
Acidic. Not a higher end product at all. Will not buy again. Disappointing.
Yuk
Very disappointed with this. Very vinegary and sour. Won’t be buying again.
a decent pinotage
I normally struggle with pinotage but this was pretty good. Would give it a 6.5 to 7 out of ten. Therefore at a pound a point it just crept in to my buy rating.
A cracker
Smooth, full of flavour and superb with red meat.
Brilliant example of a Pinotage done well
Pinotage can really divide opinions and we found this one to be fab! Dead juicy and lush with some good spice and tannin on the finish
Poor S/A frican plonk
My 2015 bottle was awful. No redeeming qualities
