Needs seasoning
Feel like half my reviews here say 'needs seasoning' but there's a bit of a difference when you've got a pie with a mash lid and the sauce underneath it desperately needs more seasoning, because you can't season the sauce yourself without obliterating the whole pie. Sort it out!
The quality of the ingredients has changed.
I haven't bought it for a while(on a diet and decided to have one as a treat), but it has changed and not in a good way. Previously, it was made with lots of (I imagine fresh) chunks of fish. Now, it appears to be made with sliced frozen fish that, for the majority of it, is quite unpleasant dry and boney by comparison. The sauce still tastes good, not quite the same(possibly down to the change in fish), but still good. The mash has changed, too, but it's acceptable. I won't be buying it again for a while, and I hope it's better when I do try it, or that will be the last time.
lots of fish and sauce
many fish pies are mostly about 75% potato and 5% fish. This was actually quite well balanced.
Fantastic
I've tried all the fish pies out there including Charlie Bighams. This Morrisons one is the best out there. I cook it in the air fryer and have it with Kale. Perfect!
Lovely
I don’t like fish so I got this for my hubby, very creamy and delicious, made it in a airfrier
tough dry fish
Not a pleasant eating experience , lots of fish but it was very tough and dry - wasnt pleasant to eat. The crumb on top was the only nice bit. We normally love fish pie but this wasnt good
