Incorrect information
Lovely pie but the nutrition information is confusing to say the least. It says on the pack the total weight is 700g, 1 portion is half a pack which on the pack says is 320g! Morrisons, how do you work that out? Are you including the foil tray in the 700g weight?
Tasty
Best I've had, lots of fish, taste great, see its gone up in price though
the best fish pie
I think this is great. Ive tried M&S, waitrose and tesco version and this is considerably better than all of them in my opinion. Lots of moist fish, generous amount of prawns, fluffy mash and crispy top. And a good size too. Im surprised anyone can find fault (and Im not easily pleased)
So bad
If this is the best hate to try the worst Overcooked fish, prawns like rubber Not enough mash sauce dried out never again
What's happened to this?
I've been buying this for a while and I've always enjoyed up until the one recently bought. It's different packaging, smaller size and I'm sure the recipe has changed. Not as much mash either. I was 2 mouthfuls into the pie and I hit a cluster of bones. Got rid of those another 2 mouthfuls and again hit bones. That was it for me. I just ate what mash there was and a couple of prawns and the rest went in the bin. I won't be buying again for the foreseeable, but I will keep a check on any more reviews to give it another try. Such a shame. The pie was great before so why change it and mess with it.
