Bizarre

Need to be cooked separately - the black ones spoiled the look of the others so they looked so unappealing I couldn't eat any!

Not much flavour

At first I was excited about their colour but they lacked any flavour. After cooking I found them a bit tough which is not expected for carrots. Will stick to the normal carrots.

Nice change

Enjoyed these carrots, slowed cooked in frying pan with butter and a dash of honey! No noticeable difference in taste to normal orange carrots but colour added interest.

Colourful, but very little flavour

We bought two packs as something special for Christmas. They kept their colour very well on cooking, but had virtually no flavour, cooked or raw. They were boiled for Christmas lunch, but in the next week I microwaved some of the second pack and roasted others, without any improvement. I don't know if we were unlucky, but the carrots in our wonky veg box were much tastier.

Greyish carrots!

A bit of a late review as we had these on Christmas Day. We sliced and boiled them but unfortunately the purple carrots dyed the water and turned the yellow carrots a greyish colour!!! The father-in-law wouldnt touch them :) Id recommend roasting them so they retain their colour and you wont end up with a similar result to putting a black sock in a white wash.
