History
Cantina Tramin was founded in 1898 and has a rich history in winemaking. It is one of the oldest cooperatives in the Alto Adige region and has 300 members, who own 260 hectares of vineyards across various altitudes and exposures. This area is known for its ideal climate and terroir for growing high-quality grapes. The winery takes its name from the nearby village of Tramin (Termeno in Italian), which is famous for its wine production and is situated in the southern part of the Alto Adige region.
