Avoid. Tasteless Tissue Paper.
OK. I have just had my food delivered early, with thanks to the driver. I thought I would have a bacon sandwich. openned the packet. First issue is the bacon is not dry cured. The second is the bacon is cut so thin it is like tissue paper and is see through. Lastly, when cooked, the rashers are so pumped full of water to raise the weight, they boil to nothing and are tasteless.
good but ...
Cooked this in the air fryer (as I do all bacon). it tasted great BUT it shrunk to about half the size, could not believe it.
Wet through
Dry cured it says on the pack but it's wet through. Needs blotting before use and then shrinks to nothing. There should be a law to prevent producers pumping water into food.
Changed for the worse like everything else
Wow. Shocked at how bad this product has become. Paper thin. No smoke. Shrinks like Dutch bacon. Just very very poor indeed. Will buy Spoilt Pig brand from now on
something Fishy
The bacon was nice and lean .however, the taste / flavour was reminiscent of smoked kippers
our favourite
We love this. It goes lovely and crispy.
