hmmmmm. not really the best are they?
Decided to try these out. Pastry way too thick and not enough filling. Filling was tasty though.

Very tasty but a bit pricey
These mince pies are 'moreish'. The pastry is quite thick as other reviewers have said but the filling tastes good. They are nice even eaten cold. They are quite expensive for their size, however.

Only tastes of sugar.
For what should be premium mince pies as part of "The Best" range, these are probably the worst ones that I've had for a while. The pastry is ok if a little thick, but the filling is very poor. It's far too sweet and I couldn't detect any hint of spice at all. It's also a bit runny for my liking. Together with the heavy dusting of icing sugar on the pastry it all just tastes of sugar. Disappointing.

merry mince pies
These are the nicest mince pies I have eaten for a long time , they are moist, full of flavour, not dry, like many I have tried before, I have really enjoyed them.

Quite Disappointed.
Bought these recently and found the pastry to be very dry and the mince to have a funny taste to it.. Better to buy ready made pastry+sweet mincemeat and make them yourselves..
